Good to see many girls entering beach soccer teams for the up and coming tournament. LBS and Beach Soccer Victoria are aiming for higher numbers in this tournament as girls are making a strong contribution to soccer in our country. With the establishment of the women's A league and the increased numbers of participants, girls are slowly getting some recognition and LBS will only be able to help this progression continue.

As traditional sports fields turn to dust under Australia’s sun, take the chance to experience the new wave of Australian sports … off the dying grass and on the famous St Kilda sand.

Beach Soccer Victoria and Lifestyle Beach sports would like to thank the Safeway Supermarkets for their generous Fresh Food community Grant that they have provided for us. It will certainly come a long way in helping the kids in Victoria get knowledge and fitness of this new sport and it will give them another avenue of keeping healthy and having plenty of laughs in which the beach can only bring.
